All of we know that navigation of websites are done with the browser and all of the browsers support viewing HTML source code of the pages which we currently viewing. In internet explorer 6.0 we can view the source of pages from “Source” option in the “View” menu.

Internet explorer opens the source file of the currently viewing webpage from the temporary internet folder in notepade. Firefox opens the sourcecode in its own source code viewer of it. This source viewer is capable of highlighting syntaxes of several HTML and CSS tags. Also it helps navigating the links included in the source forward and backward, i.e., you can navigate the links in the source code and when we do so, it will open the target page or even image (if it is an image link) as you do navigating the webpages.

If you need more advanced view of source of a webpage, you can add a Firefox Add-on named View Source Chart from the Add-ons option of Tools menu in Firefox and enable the same after install. This helps viewing of page source with more enhanced way of showing tags in recursive coloured boxes.

But navigation of source codes through the links included in the source code is really a great feature of Firefox.
